After a long year of distance learning and online hangouts, it’s time for some real-life fun. Welcome to Camp Galileo 2021, a freshly redesigned version of our award-winning summer programs for pre-K – rising 8th graders.

Across our in-person camps, kids will engage in innovation-sparking art, science and outdoor challenges that build creative confidence, nurture social development and deliver the big summer fun they crave—all in small groups that put safety first.

At Camp Galileo, kids experience all the epic fun of traditional summer camp. They play games, participate in silly traditions, wear crazy costumes and lots more. But along the way, they also learn something powerful. They learn how to innovate.

 

Fueled by a process inspired by the Stanford d.school, our passionate, college-graduate instructors help campers unlock the innovation skills they need to thrive—how to creatively solve problems, fearlessly try new things and persist in the face of challenges. IMAGINATION-SPARKING THEMES

Tailored by age group and designed for optimal innovation, each of our whimsical weeklong themes features engaging hands-on projects, irresistible outdoor games and an immersive environment crafted to capture the imagination.

 

Galileo Olympic Games

Go for the gold in a triumphant Olympic adventure. 

Get fired up to create mixed-media torches or glittering medals to light up the games. Master the mechanics of athletes and their equipment by designing high-flying archery bows, judo robots or a go-kart you can race in (a Galileo Olympic event only). Celebrate the Olympic spirit with a range of winning outdoor games.

National Parks Adventure

Embark on a wild journey into America’s most spectacular spaces. 

Collage the colors of the Grand Canyon or craft a winged puppet depicting Olympic National Park’s northern spotted owl. Gear up for your next adventure with custom-fit backpacks or wooden camp chairs you design yourself. Blaze a trail for fun with games in the great outdoors.

Toy Makers Workshop

Embrace your inner toymaker by tinkering with playful projects. 

Take your creative ideas out to play, redesigning classic toys like model cars, ribbon wands or water blasters. Wire an electric spin-art spinner or go full tilt engineering an original pinball machine. Head outdoors for team challenges that are all fun and games.
