Newport Beach Camp Information

| Check-In/Out Information

Enter the school from Federation Way and use the parking lot on your left. Please make sure to read and follow the important parking information below in order to gain entry to the parking lot.

Monday Check In 8:30am-9:00am: Please park and follow the signs to walk your camper(s) to Check-In. We require a parent or guardian to check-in campers on Monday.

Tuesday-Friday Check In 8:45am-9:00am: We'll offer curbside drop-off in the parking lot loop. Staff will greet you at your car and direct your kids to check-in – no need to park.

Please note: Parents should not leave the car for curbside drop off and campers must be able to unbuckle and open the door themselves. If your child will need extra time to get out of your car for any reason, please park and walk up.

Daily Check-Out: Check-out begins at 3:00pm. Please park and follow signs and staff to direct you where to check out your camper. Make sure to bring your ID!

| Parking Information

Enter from Federation Way and use the parking lot on your left. There is ample parking in this lot. Camp Galileo's entrance is located at the Main Gate, in the middle of the parking lot. Please note this is a different entrance from last year. There are multiple camps on campus and it is guardians' responsibility to drop off campers at the correct entrance. Please look for Galileo signage and staff wearing Galileo t-shirts and name tags to confirm that you are dropping off at the correct entrance.

You will notice an increased security presence at the school. Galileo is partnering with our host school partners, along with other on campus programs, to follow the school's current security and safety procedures.

As such, ALL persons dropping off or picking up will need a Galileo placard to enter the parking lot. A physical placard will be mailed to you 1-2 weeks before camp, and a PDF of this placard will be emailed to you several days before camp.

Please display this placard in your car windshield daily when entering the parking lot daily at drop off off and pick up. Failure to display a placard will result in additional time and security checks before being allowed to enter the parking lot. You may also display the placard on your phone, and we will have additional placards available at Check In for your convenience. Make sure you have one for EVERY car that may be used to pick up/drop off your camper(s).

Please follow staff instructions and be patient and kind to all Security, School, and Galileo staff, as we all follow these important security procedures.
