This summer will be Rachael's 5th summer at Galileo. Rachael is warmly anticipating another summer full of camp magic and innovation. She has a B.A. in both psychology and sociology from Pepperdine University. During the school year, she works as staff in a high school campus ministry office as well as a tutor for middle school students. Rachael loves working with campers and staff so that the joy and community of Galileo can continue each year, and she is excited to welcome everyone back to camp soon.

At our Saratoga summer camp, campers in grades K-10 work on becoming innovators. They’ll learn how to develop a vision, have courage, and be collaborative and determined to solve the task at hand. Whether they are working on a STEAM project, putting together a class skit or engaging in outdoor game competitions, campers will walk away with lasting memories. They’ll also conclude camp equipped with a toolkit to excel in different aspects of their lives, having developed their Innovator’s Mindset. Making friends is an important part of the camp experience. Kids can attend camp with existing friends or make new ones through our exciting and collaborative camp activities like tag, castle building and capture the rubber chicken (our mascot).
