Summer Camp in Hyde Park

Check-in Instructions

For check-in on Monday, please park and walk your campers to our check in tables just inside the Parish parking lot gates off S. Woodlawn Ave between 8:30-9:00am. We require a parent or guardian to check-in campers on Monday.

On Tuesday-Friday, we'll offer car drop-off check-in in the Parish parking lot from 8:45-9:00am. Cars should enter the lot via the first alley off of Kimbark Ave. heading south between 55th and 54th. Follow the alley west, then turn immediately left (south) and follow cones and signs to our check in. Staff will greet you at your car and walk your kids to their group. If you need extra time to get out of your car for any reason, please park and walk your camper to check-in. Exit the lot onto Woodlawn, and turn right (north) only.

Check-out Instructions

Check-out begins at 3:00pm.

At the end of the day, we will offer curbside check-out off Woodlawn Ave out of the front doors of the building after cars pull through the parish parking lot via the first alley off of Kimbark Ave. heading south between 55th and 54th. Follow the alley west, then turn immediately left (south) and follow cones and signs to our checkout. All cars should have your Galileo dashboard name tag on display that you will receive at check-in. As cars approach, we will notify our staff to bring your camper to your car for pick-up.

On Water Day, we will have check-out from the parking lot instead of the front doors of the building. We will have staff ready for the check-out process in the parking lot instead of having you pull to the front doors.

Please have your Photo ID ready.

For safety reasons, drivers are to remain in their cars and should not be on their cell phone during the pick-up process. If you need extra time with our staff, please park your car and walk up.

Rainy Day Instructions

If it's ever raining during check-in or check-out, we will be having cars pull through the parking lot to the front doors on Woodlawn Avenue where staff will be ready at the front doors of the building to help check in/out campers.

Extended Care Instructions

Dropping off your camper for AM Extended Care will look exactly the same as regular check-in with cars pulling through the parish parking lot for drop-off. Picking up your camper from PM Extended Care will take place from the front doors of the building off Woodlawn Ave where parents can ring the indicated doorbell and have staff come to help checkout your camper.

Limited parking is available in the Parish parking lot. Enter the lot carefully via the first alley off of Kimbark Ave. heading south between 55th and 54th. Follow the alley west, then turn immediately left (south) and follow cones and signs. Additional street parking is available on S. Woodlawn Ave., and on other nearby neighborhood streets. Please carefully observe all street signs and summer parking restrictions.
