This is Kiana's first year with the Galileo community. With 5 years of classroom experience, she is eager to lead and learn alongside campers, instructors, and counselors. Kiana has has a B.A. in Sociology and Education from UC Santa Cruz, and an M.A. in Education from U.C. Berkeley. She is a 3rd grade teacher in the East Bay Area and enjoys running, cooking, and traveling in her free time. Kiana loves collaborating with campers to build and create new things!

Located at Francis Key Scott Elementary School, Camp Galileo gives your camper a summer full of new discoveries and inventions. Kids take on hands-on STEAM projects like building robots, engineering roller coasters or painting stained-glass windows, while learning critical 21st-century skills such as perseverance and collaboration. They also get to engage in fun activities like relay races and lanyard making and camp traditions like silly skits and songs.
