Camp Galileo Anywhere Fall Online Classes Begin August 31st

Galileo is delighted to announce the introduction of new online classes and camps for Fall 2020. The new Camp Galileo online titles being offered – in addition to the dozens of currently available titles – will provide a complement to students’ core curriculum by offering rewarding enrichment opportunities during the week—including art, design and engineering projects—proven to spark innovation and build a growth mindset.

Many families are grappling with how they will manage their children’s educational experience now that COVID-19 has interrupted the traditional start of the 2020-2021 school year. To address the gaps in distance-learning, parents are seeking ways to brighten the shelter-in-place doldrums for their kids and offer safe options for social interaction and joyful exploration. Camp Galileo Anywhere provides a welcome supplement to children’s school routines.

Online Instruction That Transcends the Screen

Camp Galileo Anywhere fall camps and classes provide the learning support parents are seeking:

High-quality programming taught by skilled, enthusiastic instructors kids love.
A welcome structure on days that schools can’t provide full-time instruction

Each online class or camp requires just a few simple household materials and minimal supervision, so adults get a real break and kids get a much needed change of pace. All classes have been thoughtfully created and tested to be age appropriate with just the right amount of challenge and fun that will keep them engaged even after the class has ended.

Descriptions and enrollment for the full portfolio of online classes and camps for fall will be available August 16th, 2020. In addition to more than 50 online titles for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade, Galileo will be accepting inquiries for online birthday parties, hangouts and individual sessions with popular camp directors beginning in late August.
