WE’RE LAUNCHING GALILEO’S SPARK INNOVATION SCHOLARSHIP!

We’ve been around for a while, and we know what it takes to thoughtfully train thousands of exceptional leaders who teach campers how to be courageous innovators. We also work with partners like The Tech Museum of Innovation and The Boys and Girls Club to bring these ideals to as many kids as possible.

Now we’re ready to invest in future educators in a different way.
On the heels of one of our most successful summers to date, we’re excited to announce the Spark Innovation Scholarship by Galileo!

This scholarship, newly created in 2018, is to support aspiring educators who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and believe that—in order for students to have a competitive advantage and add true value to the global community of the future—innovation must be at the forefront of education.

We will grant three $1,000 scholarships for this year. Please note, the application window is September 27th through November 25, 2018. All applicants (including scholarship recipients) will be notified by December 20, 2018.

INSTRUCTIONS
The application will ask you for basic contact and academic information, and there will also be a brief essay (500 – 700 words) on one of the following prompts:

  • Why is it important to empower kids to be innovators?
  • How do you want to inspire kids to become innovators?
  • What led you to inspire kids to become innovators? How has that inspiration impacted your passion?
Note: You will not be able to save and return to your application later, so please set aside enough time to fill out the application and write the essay all in one sitting. We also recommend first composing the essay in a separate document and pasting it into the form afterward.
