Unlocking creativity & design thinking skills that last a lifetime

Galileo Summer Camps (and Spring Break Camps, too) offer something that is so much more than fun for the kids who come spend time with us each year. They also provide hands-on programs where kids learn how to innovate. Fueled by our amazing staff of educators and a curriculum that unlocks creativity, problem solving and the persistence that is needed in a world where innovation skills are increasingly important.

For more than 18 years, Galileo has been sparking kids’ imaginations and creating an inspiring summer camp curriculum for kids ranging from grades pre-kindergarten through 10th grade. In that time, we have served more than 500,000 kids and spend more than $10 million dollars on innovation curriculum that teaches the skills kids will need to design a better future.

In fact, ongoing studies in collaboration with the Stanford School of Education have proven the enduring impact that Galileo’s Innovation curriculum has on campers. The more weeks and years kids experience and engage with the Galileo Innovation Approach (lovingly called the GIA), the more lasting the critical values of couragevisioncollaborationdetermination -and reflection become.

But you don’t have to take our word for it. Watch our short video above to hear from some of our kids and parents who return for summer camp at Galileo each year.

From the cradle of Silicon Valley in Palo Alto and the surf town of Venice Beach, in California to Chicago’s historic West Loop and the new communities in the Stapleton area of Denver – Galileo Kids are returning year after year to memorable summer camp experiences that set them up for future success to build a world for themselves and for their communities.
