Take off on a weeklong outer-space adventure in an epic story you help bring to life. Listen along to an original tale about an intrepid alien searching for a missing pal, creating imaginative illustrations of story elements and constructing three-dimensional inventions to help your hero along the way.
Start by making your own book to record the week’s journey. Learn basic drawing techniques and BE VISIONARY as you imagine an alien hero named Enu, an extraterrestrial abode, a pair of fantastical planets and more, illustrating each element and embellishing with inventive details. BE DETERMINED to learn new paper printing and construction skills, using them to build a tall tower to help Enu search, a sled to navigate a snowy planet, a wearable clue to Enu’s friend’s whereabouts and a squiggly alien creature. Conclude the week’s quest with an exciting discovery on a water-covered planet, a book full of original illustrations and a collection of out-of-this-world inventions.
Note: This weeklong class is more than just innovation-igniting projects—it’s an immersive experience full of delightful details, including interactive games, silly traditions, snacks (see Additional Prep, below) and more! designed to build community, bolster confidence and deliver loads of camp-away-from-camp fun.
