It was fun to see my son make something new and giggle at the jokes. He was proud of his work and showed it off after class. He kept making cards all evening!

What You'll Do

Deliver silly spring greetings to your favorite people with a playful pop-up card. Learn advanced paper cutting and folding skills to craft three types of pop-ups—a mouth, a box and a V-fold—you can use to express a sunny, funny seasonal message. Brainstorm jokes for your card, then BE VISIONARY as you imagine different ways to make the best one pop. Give your clever card even more dimension using curvy custom lettering, then fold it up and send it out to lend a little laughter to someone’s day.

Note: This class puts a springtime twist on our Pop-Up Joke Cards. If your child took that class in the fall or winter, they’ll have a chance to keep building on the skills they learned, plus make a new card for a new season.

While we offer a similar class for older kids, the pacing and content of this class is carefully calibrated for 4th – 5th graders.
