Create a candy-covered graham cracker house filled with sweet memories. Learn a batch of deliciously innovative building techniques to construct sturdy 3D shapes using boxed graham crackers and royal icing you whip up yourself. BE VISIONARY by imagining inventive ways to arrange your edible building blocks and hide written memories inside, then add festive candy details to dress your dwelling for the season. Share your tasty creation with your family, breaking open the walls to reveal your secret spring memories.
Note: This class puts a springtime twist on Edible Architecture. If your child took that class in the fall or winter, they’ll have a chance to keep building on the skills they learned, plus make a new structure for a new season.
While we offer a similar class for younger kids, the pacing and content of this class is carefully calibrated for 6th – 8th graders.
At the beginning of class, set the oven to 350°F.
