Stacie fell in love with camp in the mountains of Colorado as a child. She was able to spend 2 summers working at her childhood YMCA camp of Camp Chief Ouray as a Horse Wrangler and Counselor. She returned from the Easter European country of North Macedonia in January 2018 where she had spent 3 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer. There she was an English teacher as her primary assignment, but she spent every summer attending GLOW, a girls' leadership camp, among many other local camps. All that camp magic brought her from Macedonia to Chicagoland and Camp Galileo. Stacie believes in the power of Camp Magic to transform the hearts, bodies, and minds of all campers and staff that it touches and she can't wait to create some more Camp Magic for her 3rd summer with Camp Galileo.
