Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey with Lourdes Diaz at the helm for her 6th summer with Galileo and her 2nd year leading Camp Galileo Burbank! With a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge and a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of La Verne, Lourdes infuses her passion and expertise into every aspect of camp life. Her favorite part of camp is getting to connect with campers and staff to inspire, create, and pursue new possibilities. Beyond the summer months, she excels as a High School Counselor for Emergent Bilinguals, seamlessly managing the unique academic, socio-emotional and career development needs of her students. During her downtime, Lourdes indulges in many hobbies, whether it's traveling and exploring nature or finding a new coffee shop to pop into. Camp Galileo Summer Camp at LILA school in Burbank serves kids ages 5 through 12 and is conveniently located close to the following neighborhoods: Sherman Oaks, La Cañada – Flintridge, La Crescenta – Montrose, Glendale, Pasadena, Eagle Rock, North Hollywood, Sun Valley, Toluca Lake, and Valley Village.
