Galileo is delighted to announce the launch of Camp Galileo in Denver, CO for the 2020 summer season. Camp Galileo in Denver-Stapleton is our inaugural Colorado summer camp and opens this June. The Denver summer day camp program is open to kids entering grades Pre-K through 5th in the fall of 2020 and will take place at Bill Roberts Elementary School in the Stapleton neighborhood of Denver.
Galileo was founded in 2002 and has since served more than 500,000 kids in more than 70 regional camps across the US. Our mission is to foster a world with more solution-oriented innovators. We believe kids who learn to explore and fail with courage – the essence of innovation – are happier, more creative and more confident in the face of life’s challenges.
As a hotspot for tech entrepreneurs and creatives, Denver is a culture-rich and diverse home to families who understand the value of innovation. Camp Galileo is an ideal match for Stapleton, introducing elementary-school aged kids to a high-quality (but still incredibly fun) curriculum in week-long programs where they incorporate design-thinking, problem-solving and collaboration into their hands-on projects. Camp Galileo provides design, engineering and technology curriculum that includes indoor projects, outdoor activities and engaging ceremonies that kids and parents love.
