Melissa is thrilled to return for a second summer of innovation with Galileo! With more than 20 years experience as a leader in education with school, community-based and the entertainment + music industry, She brings a passion for igniting teams and youth in creativity and innovation. She holds a B.S. in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton. When Galileo is not in session, Melissa is part of a classical school alongside 35 families, teaching high school literature and plans outdoor education experiences for youth! She also serves as Children’s Ministry Director for children in nursery through elementary school. In her spare time you’ll find her behind a good book or gathering up her husband, teen daughters, active toddler and a wee little babe for yet another adventure exploring the great outdoors.
