Galileo Named a Best Places to Work, 12 Years Running
We’re so excited to share that Galileo has once again been awarded one of the 2021 Bay Area Best Places To Work, an awards program presented by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
This marks the our twelfth consecutive year on the list, and Galileo received the honor, among the top companies on the list, at a special online awards event held on May 7, 2021. These winning organizations were recognized for having created exceptional workplaces based on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, and other amenities as well as management practices.
“We’re so incredibly humbled and proud to be once again recognized as a best place to work by our employees,” said Glen Tripp, Galileo Founder and CEO. “Our culture has always been one of our strongest assets, but I could never have anticipated just how important it would be to help lift us up in a time of uncertainty and challenge. This award just reinforces how resilient our staff are and I am so grateful that we are able to live up to our mission to develop young innovators in these trying times.”
Founded in 2002, Galileo is a certified B Corp and also named a Real Leaders’ 2019 Top Impact Company, as well as one of Forbes’ Best Small Companies in 2017.

About 2021 Bay Area Best Places to Work
Best Places to Work is an innovative publication and awards program produced by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The rankings were determined by surveys that went directly to employees who answered a series of questions. The survey was administered online by the employers and through a service provided by Quantum Workplace, our research partner. The rankings are numeric based on Quantum’s scoring process. By ranking companies and sharing best practices we facilitate idea sharing and help other companies learn from the best.
