Award-winning Summer Day Camp Makes SF Business Times’ List for 10th Consecutive Year
Galileo Camps (Galileo Learning, LLC), one of the most renowned summer day camp providers in the country, announced today that it has been ranked #1 in its category of the 2019 Bay Area Best Places To Work, an awards program presented by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
This marks the organization’s tenth consecutive year on the list, and the eighth year ranked in the top ten. Galileo received the honor, among the top companies on the list, at a special awards event held on April 18, 2019. These winning organizations were recognized for having created exceptional workplaces based on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, and other amenities as well as management practices.
“We’ve been focused on creating a special place to work for 17 years,” says Glen Tripp, Galileo Founder and CEO. “Being a great workplace means we attract the best, most caring people to work with our campers and lead our teams. And being ranked number one in our tenth year on the list is a great way to celebrate the hard work our team has put into this.”
Founded in 2002, Galileo is a certified B Corp, was most recently named a Real Leaders’ 2019 Top Impact Company, and was also named one of Forbes’ Best Small Companies in 2017.
