If you’ve been keeping up with us the past few years, you know that Galileo is on a mission to develop innovators who envision and create a better world, and we do it by teaching campers to understand and apply the Galileo Innovation Approach*—or the “GIA,” as we like to call it.

But our mission to develop innovators doesn’t apply just to campers. We also give our summer staff—particularly current and aspiring educators—the opportunity to apply and master our comprehensive learning model. We believe in the astounding power of this ripple effect. Our staff take 21st century tools back to their school-year pursuits, sparking creativity in the students they teach and colleagues they inspire.

This experience is only more profound at our flagship Peninsula sites.

In 2002, Galileo was founded in Palo Alto—arguably the birthplace of modern innovation. With our deepened community ties and partnerships with local mission-aligned schools, our Peninsula staff have the opportunity for exponential growth in as little as two weeks on our team. You’ll have robust hands-on training delivering inventive curriculum, work with supportive managers invested in your growth, connect with families who are passionate about design-thinking, gain a network of like-minded professionals, and have a front-row seat to program logistics and management for our biggest camps. How’s that for an innovative summer?

Are you or someone you know interested in joining our one of our Peninsula teams this summer? Apply now or share this post.

*The GIA is inspired by the innovation process developed at the Stanford d.school—speaking of Stanford, we’re big fans. Check this out.
