GALILEO LEARNING LAUNCHES CAMP GALILEO ANYWHERE

With school closures and shelter-in-place orders due to Coronavirus, families are seeking for new routines to keep kids learning while they juggle life’s other responsibilities. Galileo is ramping up to support families everywhere with our newest innovation: Camp Galileo Anywhere.

Camp Galileo Anywhere offers families an opportunity to infuse their child’s home school journey with something they’ve been asking of us for years:Camp Galileo-style innovation education as part of their regular school day.

Every Sunday we’ll be delivering a week’s worth of activities to inboxes across our territories encouraging families to include one hour of Camp Galileo Anywhere as part of their daily routine. With differentiated content for ages K-2nd graders and 3rd – 5th graders, we’ll provide:

• Engaging, video-based art & engineering project challenges,
• Active energizer challenges and live experiences facilitated by our passionate staff including camp-style opening ceremonies,
• Innovator’s Mindset story-time and more.

Each week’s missive will also support the grown-ups with printable resources, guiding questions, ideas for self-care and a quick survey that will enable us to refine the offering over time to better serve our community and bring new families into the fold. The first week of content launches Sunday, March 22, 2020 and will be sent to email subscribers weekly to allow families to incorporate these fun and engaging activities into their daily schedules. Families can also access Camp Anywhere on the Galileo Camps website, from the Galileo Camps blog, and from the new Facebook Group Community that has generated more than 1,000 like-minded families within 24 hours of its launch, and continues to grow daily.
