Young innovators practice determination as they design a LEGO car that can stand up to a crash test.

What a day we had on February 1st, kicking off the month with innovation and camp flair at Galileo Day at The Tech Interactive! True to Galileo’s joyful camp spirit, the event featured an opening ceremony with a magical rubber chicken, previewed some of the awesome projects campers can create this summer, and gave kids and adults alike a chance to get innovative with hands-on art and science projects.

A mom and daughter duo dazzle the galleries of The Tech Interactive with a visionary face paint look.

As the program director of Summer Camps at The Tech Interactive, it was so great to see The Interactive transformed into a camp wonderland in the winter, if only for a day. I can’t wait to bring the camp magic back this summer as our campers explore 18 amazing classes in this world-class institution.

A huge thank you to our event host, The Tech Interactive, for having us for the day! Since 2002, Galileo and The Interactive have partnered to bring innovation to life at camp in the Bay Area and beyond. Galileo Day at The Tech is just the latest offering in our 17 years of collaboration.

Galileo Day may be over, but the fun at The Tech Interactive keeps on rolling.  For a limited time, Galileo families can save 20% on membership at The Tech Interactive with code Galileo20.
